It’s definitely been a long time coming but I’m excited to say we’re finally up and running! I look forward to sharing research, latest news, interesting stories, recipes and soooo much more with you!

If you don’t know me well enough from my “About” page, let’s become perfectly acquainted!

My true passion is food…real food. Processed, refined, packaged, deep fried, neucked garbage does not fit on my menu.  Don’t get me wrong, this was not always the case and now and then I do enjoy one my my grandma’s delicious homemade butter tarts BUT nothing comes close to a fresh, home cooked purposeful meal packed with all the goodies including; vitamins, minerals, phytonutrients, anti-oxidants, and the list goes on..

While I’m not playing the role as a Nutritionista, I adooorreee…. being surrounded by my friends and family (amazing sunset yoga picture is compliments of my lovely friend Nicole), warm weather, Tragically Hip, Skinny Bitch & Skinny Bastard (a must read book), the cottage, starbucks (EEK!), running, cooking, trying new things and soo much more!

Last but not least.. included in my health intake form is this particular question which everyone seems to get a little shy about answering.. so here I go…

If you were on a desert island, which is ONE food you would absolutely crave?

my answer?  100% I would say avocado.. I’m a junkie..
